We are back and excited to announce our 2020/2021 winter season!

We are hopeful the season will be as big of a success as last season, where we had nearly 1,100 boys and girls participate in the best basketball program in the Metroplex.  

Below are important dates, and if you are new to the program please visit our FAQ page where you will find answers to many of your questions.

We are working to firm up dates/times for our preseason activities, while closely monitoring UIL and KISD Covid-19 protocols for our season.  KYA Basketball will follow UIL guidelines regarding screening, disinfecting, social distancing (when possible) and other risk mitigation procedures.  

Important Dates

• Registration Opens - Wednesday Sept 16th
• Registration Closes - Saturday October 31st
• Coaches Meetings via Zoom – Saturday November 7th and Sunday 8th (time TBD)
• Coach’s Look – Week of November 9th and/or 16th (date/location TBD)
• Coach’s Draft – Saturday November 21th  (date/location TBD)
• First Practices  – Week of November 30th
• Christmas Holiday Break – December 21st through January 4th
• First Game – Saturday January 9th  
• Final Regular Season Game – Saturday February 27th
• Playoffs and Championship (3rd through 6th grade only) – Beginning week of March 2nd
